Steelpointe Harbor’s Boca Oyster Bar recently hosted a very successful Bridgeport Chamber of Commerce (BCC) networking event. More than 230 people attended the Business After Hours reception on Boca’s outdoor patio overlooking the brand new Bridgeport Harbor Marina. The festive gathering was sponsored by All American Waste LLC and featured food and drinks for all who attended the August 13 Summer Fun Series event. By far the largest contingency came from Century 21 which had more than 15 participants.
Boca Oyster Bar is located at 10 East Main Street right on Bridgeport Harbor and was the perfect waterfront location for networking on a beautiful summer evening. One of the raffle prizes, a free dumpster from All American Waste, was won by Bill Cotter from Data Tel, LLC. Jeff Bishop of the Bridgeport Regional Business Council coordinated the event and said it was all he had hoped for, “Typically you want people to come to a dynamic location where business relationships can flourish, and that’s what happened here.
Steelpointe Harbor’s Development Administrator Steve Tyliszczak was in attendance with the company’s President of Operations Robert Christoph, Jr., who said the event was the perfect platform to show the local business community just what is happening at Steelpointe and what excitement they have to look forward to as development on the peninsula continues.
